Spirit of Service------------

 

Below is a listing of the various opportunities to be of service at Renaissance Unity.  Please

check up to three areas using the corresponding boxes, complete the form at the end of

the page and send your inquiry to our Volunteer Department.
 

C/D & Cassette Duplication - Sunday: Assist with tape duplicating & distribution after each service.

Dependables - Assemble weekly bulletins and other handouts on Thursday mornings. 

Events Counter - Help at the Events Counter for ticketed events, class registrations and other occasions when payment or sign-up process is required on Sundays and possibly during special functions.

 

Greeters - Warmly welcome people to our facility on Sundays, Wednesdays and special events. 

 

Grounds Care - Assist with upkeep of property, gardens and landscape on weekends.

 

Kitchen - Set-up refreshment lines for services and some special events.

 

Media - Assist in all phases of Sunday service production, i.e. operating video, sound, and lighting systems, etc.

Mystic Grounds - Host/Hostess for coffeehouse; assist with serving beverages and food items on Sundays and for some special events.

Parking Lot Ushers – Warmly welcome and assist visitors and members as the friendly first face of our church before and after services on Sundays.

Reception Area - Answer phones before, during and after Sunday services and/or during the week.  Assist with light office work.

Store - Assist customers on Sundays and during the week in locating resources that can support them with their    spiritual growth.

Ushers - Hand out bulletins, help guests find seats, collect the offering on Sundays and special events.

 Youth Ministry Non-teaching Opportunities

Teaching Opportunities - Working as part of a team, teachers prepare and share an age apprpriate lesson from the approved curriculum on Sunday mornings.

Non- Teaching Opportunities - Provide behind - the - scenes support for the Sunday Teachers and the Youth Ministry program through a variety of different activities.

As we work together as volunteers we enter into a spirit of service which transforms ourselves and our world.

 

We serve each other because it makes a difference for all of us. We serve one another because it is fun. We serve each other because it propels us beyond our three dimensional experience into the realm of Christ consciousness.

 

Renaissance Unity is a loving and caring church as well as a responsible organization.  In keeping with current best practice and with the intent of providing a safe and secure oasis for people – of all ages – to pursue their spiritual development, background checks are required for all paid and volunteer staff prior to being placed in any capacity.  Background checks will occur every 12 months.
